Ever heard of snow falling in Ghana ?
I guess not Amedzofe is a settlement north of Ho in the mountainous region of the Ho Municipal District of the volta region. Amedzofe, one of the highest villages in Ghana at more than 600 meters, is perched at the foot of Mt. Gemi. Amedzofe is popularly referred as a “small London” .

The settlement in the mountains, and can boast of four natural gifts-the Ote [otay] Falls, Mount Gemi, the weather and the landscape. In previous years folks in the village used to experience slightly snowfall. Sadly as years go by climate has caused a change therefore snow doesn’t fall but one can experience server fog on a visibility is very low

Mt. Gemi is one of the many tourist sites over there. It is of the tallest mountain in Ghana .As the very peak of the mountain is a tall cross made of iron erected by the German missionaries in 1993
